 Principal Android Platform Product Manager - Software platforms

Logitech's B2B group is looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive and manage the execution of the Video Collaboration software platform.As a Principal Product Manager, your role involves defining, executing, and delivering the Video Collaboration software platform, which is utilized across all devices in our product range. You will play a key role in shaping the product strategy, enhancing its features, and guaranteeing an excellent user experience. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around leading and managing the software platform for our devices, with a particular emphasis on the development of the camera pipeline feature.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, plan, and release features for CollabOS across our portfolio of existing and upcoming devices. This is a great opportunity for those with a technical inclination and a knack for creating outstanding collaboration experiences on embedded system platforms. It also enables our customers to fully utilize our current and future video collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own, define, and deliver product requirements for new features and enhancements within Logitech's B2B product portfolio.

  • Develop detailed product requirements and design specifications for new platform capabilities.

  • Coordinate with the engineering and QA teams to scope, plan, and release CollabOS device features.

  • Convey the feature roadmap, crucial issues, and launch plans to key stakeholders and business teams, such as Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Go-to-market managers, to align with the release plan.

  • Work with support escalation engineers, partner support channels, and our internal development teams to resolve field issues.

  • Ensure architectural decisions meet business needs across multiple form factors and generations of products.

  • Collaborate with System and Algorithm Engineering to ensure that hardware capabilities meet user experience requirements.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in Video Collaboration or Unified Communication space is a must

  • 15+ years of experience in a B2B domain

  • 10+ years of experience in a Product Management role focused on Android platforms and embedded systems.

  • Navigated product scale challenges in a rapidly growing environment

  • Ability to easily communicate complicated concepts to non-technical people

  • Ambitious, hands-on, with a can-do attitude.

  • Intuition for end-users product quality needs

  • Love for solving technical problems in creative ways

  • Have a real passion for collaboration between people and how we can improve on that meeting room experience.

This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 106000 and $ 238000.   In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
